Too many ewes!😂
3/4 Southdown ewe for sale, born 2024. Had a nice single ewe lamb in Feb, her first and she was an excellent mother. Her sire was a 1/2 SD ram I had that I called King, he was by a Top Tier son and out of a Forsee ewe. Her dam is Willwerth/Hired Hand.
A half sister to this ewe, by the same ram, produced a couple of naturals by Ocean Eyes out of a set of triplets so she may carry the same genetics. This ewe is FD. Asking $300

I am now officially sold out of 2026 lambs. In late summer, current plans are to breed my ewes to Miracle Max, and Ocean Eyes for AI, for 2027 lambs.

This is great information! Those of us who raise these hairy/wooly faced lambs will end up dealing with this from time to time. I always check my very young lambs for wetness under the eyes, a sure sign you’ve got a turned in eyelid/hair that’s rubbing the eye. I will catch a lamb like that several times a day and manually open the eyes, rolling the eyelids. This technique looks great for the really stubborn cases.
