The bull in the video, Nooner, is a key part of our operation and has been for the past five years. Our acquisition cost for Nooner was $3250. However, replacing him today would come at a significantly higher cost of $5000 or more. This price disparity illustrates the financial strain on cattle farmers, where the replacement cost of an animal can equal the sale of multiple head of cattle, limiting our profitability. We're providing this insight to shed light on the factors driving beef prices higher.
