Today we’re putting a little spotlight on one of our favorite ingredients — GUAVA! 🌺 We’ve had so many people stop by and ask about it, so today you can try it a few different ways, including Pastelillos de Guayaba, Quesitos de Guayaba, and our Guava & Cream Cheese Cookies! 😋

And you’ll see two new faces behind our table today! While the restaurant remains CLOSED today as the owners prepare for our family event, my son Jisaiah Avila and daughter-in-law Michele Avilaare taking over the market! ❤️ Stop by, say hello, and show them some love!

❤️ Leo’s Will Be Closed Saturday, August 29th ❤️

Since opening Leo’s Marvelous Bites, it has been go, go, go. Our family has poured so much time, love, and dedication into this restaurant that we haven’t had many opportunities to simply be together.

This Saturday, we’re taking that time. ❤️ We’ll be celebrating my mom’s birthday, my granddaughter’s birthday, and coming together to celebrate the life of a loved one we recently lost. 🕊️

Because we are truly family owned and operated, that means closing our doors for the day. And as you all know, our customers and supporters have become part of our Leo’s family too. ❤️ We’ll be sharing pictures from our family outing and celebration so you can celebrate these special moments right along with us!

We’ll be back next week in full effect with our adjusted hours, upcoming Latin dance nights, specials, events, and more. And YES—we will be open Labor Day weekend! 🎉

❤️ A Quick Apology❤️

For those who know me from the Twin City Farmers Market, you know I’m normally there every Saturday. Yesterday, we had a large catering event, so for the first time I had new team members run the market for me.

There was a misunderstanding when reading the menu I sent. The Pulled Pork & Cheese Mini Burrito was listed as $7 WITH RICE, but the burritos were sold by themselves for $7.

I especially want to clarify that our mini burritos are normally $3–$4 each, depending on the ingredients we use. We would never charge $7 for a mini burrito by itself, and we never want anyone to feel they were overcharged.

If you purchased one yesterday for $7, please make sure to come see us next Saturday! We will happily reimburse you or give you another burrito FREE to make it right. ❤️
