Creating the puppy pen. We start with 2 4' by 8' rubber horse mats. Clean them very well. Then we assemble a 4' wide x 8' long and 48" tall fence for the barrier with two gates. After this we cover the rubber mats with whelping pads to absorb the fluids, next we use Little Wolf Potty Trays to help with potty training. After this we use an Easy Whelp pad to wick away the moisture to the bottom blanket. This keeps puppy dry no matter what. We use grass pellets fed to horses to absorb moisture and cover the poo in the potty pans. The grate that sits on top of the potty pan keeps the business in the pan away from puppy. I hang baby chimes on the pen walls to entertain puppy but to let me know ow when he's up and busy. They are soft and pleasant to hear. Now the little fellow has some adjusting to do.
