Here’s a little back story on Walter. He is one of our herd boars who has sired many of our pigs we sell to Niman Ranch and Moenning Meats. Since his retirement, a neighbor friend has been conditioning him to be a big boar. This is a ‘baby’ picture of Walter livin’ the life.

Here is my Minnesota take on Philly's Cheese Steak Sandwich.
I cooked our Moenning Meats Philly Cheese Brat, and placed it in a brat bun, but a toasted Hoagy bun would be nice too. Then I topped it with sautéed green peppers and onions. Easy peasy! Try it for yourself by picking up some brats from us at the Rochester Farmers Markets.
