Gotta stand up for what’s right. Gotta stand up for the truth. If not, then somebody’s gonna change your narrative to something they want regardless of what you need. This includes farmers. This includes beekeepers. This includes gardeners. This includes everyone.

If you’re gonna spew hatred, then be prepared for us to amplify it. It’s about time people take responsibility for what they say and what they put online. You can no longer hide behind the hope that the people you bully won’t say anything. We’re done with you. And we’re done keeping quiet. Honesty and truth are important. People have been enabled for far too long. We’re not gonna be part of the group that enables.

There is so much hatred fueled by those who would have us divided and those would love to not be held accountable for all of the destruction they cause to women, children, men, communities, the environment and everything else…and because he doesn’t agree with who we choose to vote for, Artie Jenkins threatens to kill our bees and the bees kept by our neighbors.

She keeps getting interrupted while she’s working hard to scrape the pollen substitute off her body and onto her back legs so she can get it into the hive. The bees are working hard to put up reserves for this winter. It’s time to get the hives put into the barn. I wait until the daytime temps are consistently at freezing or below. These days are up and down with daytime temps sometimes getting up into the 60°a in the direct sun. Getting in last chance cleansing flights helps them empty their bowels before being hived up.

Flying at 39°F/3.8°C. Magical creatures.
It’s time to make some sugar board, put it in on top of the frames and get these gals all sealed up for winter. But on days like today, when the sun is bright and the afternoon temp in the direct sun gets above 40°F. They just wanna fly around and p**p on my truck. Why would I deprive them of that?

Off they go to VOTE in the local Fairbanks elections. Polls close at 8pm tonight. Do you want your kids learning critical thinking and decision-making and social emotional skills and about things that are absolutely true and able to be proven like historical facts and scientific findings or do you want them to be taught that they should NOT think critically, learn how to problem solve or make decisions and that the Earth is flat and only 3000 years old… that’s how we got into the mess we’re in and the bigger mess that’s heading our way.
