Just a little video disproving some myths, taught as truths, in chicken incubation. Lots of people preach temperature 99-101 degrees and humidity 30-50% days 1-18 then raise humidity to 60-75% and " lock down" don't open incubator for any reason from day 18- full hatch +- day 21.
Well.. this batch incubated at 100.0 degrees and humidity was 14-33 percent the entire time. I opened and closed the incubator +- 15 times the last 3 days and have had a full hatch of all eggs that candle with development at day 5-7 .
Zero died in shell after pip. None have spraddle leg or other hatch deformity. Shells are nicely " unzipped" .
