Ruthless Hogs BBQ

10/11/2026

We ended up cooking in our hometown cook this weekend in Jackson Mo for the Jackson Backyard BBQ competition. This competition is all about raising money for The BackStoppers Inc.. We cooked so many different items for the people’s choice I can’t remember everything we cooked! All the BBQ teams worked hard making items for the public and the community showed up and showed out! Everyone did an amazing job and a big shout out to Ken's Ace Hardware for winning the people’s choice! The crew at Ken’s killed it with some awesome food! We cannot wait to come back next year! We finished out the weekend getting our first ever Grand Champion in the pro division! Big shout out to everyone who helped make it happen! Thanks to Biester’s Meats and Premium Auto Body for everything you do for us! And thank you to Jackson Backyard BBQ for the awesome gift for winning GC!
Big shoutout to Ian Ferguson Music for putting on one heck of a concert! Look this kid up because he’s an amazing singer!

We took a quick trip down to Arlington Tn this past weekend to cook a steak. We had a long wait so I decided to cook some ribs also. I should have known to take baby backs when going to Memphis but I wanted to run some Stl ribs. It turned out alright in the end getting 15th out of 33 teams in ribs. I ended up getting a 10th place call in steak also!
