Another bull for the year. Definitely not what we expected from the Frizz & Liz combo but you never know with highparks. He's healthy so that's what truly matters. We could just really use a heifer at this point. We have 1 more left for this month and then we wait till Sept. Unless we have a surprise in there.

We've decided to steer some of our bull calves, took some convincing as Toby likes to wait for the buyer to request it. I get his reasoning but I'm pro steer right away. This guy however would make a great herd sire for someone wanting to get started with highlands as hes as sweet as can be. He'll be on Momma for a while but after that hes up for grabs.
So for now, Stetson gets to to keep his goods. As does the silver, because well look at him.

New Baby alert! Guess what?!

It's a BULL!
So we are now up to 6 bulls since Dec. 25th. No heifers.
We have 2 left to go for spring.

These are not all from the same bull, 2 are from Frizz, 3 Wally and this guy is from another farm. Its just been our luck but they are healthy and ador-a-bull so I'm grateful for that.
