Comparte nuestros anuncios con tus amigos y que ellos ahor After jetting around the globe for two decades, driving the growth of her computer brand and distributing major brands in the personal computer industry, Maria Elena Ibañez sold her second company to a global player. As a successful serial entrepreneur, she was ready to start another venture. As she
researched new business ideas, she noticed there was an attractive niche to create a Hispanic refrigerated foods brand focused on reviving the authentic flavors of the consumers’ Latin roots. She launched "El Latino Foods" in 2002 and built it into one of the fastest growing Hispanic food brands in the US. The US Hispanic food market in 2002 was still highly fragmented. There were many regional brands with loyal followings. The segment was growing faster than the overall food market in the US. Maria Elena thought her degree in Computer Science would allow her to build her own logistics capabilities, automating procedures, and streamlining distribution routes. Thanks to her experience building two fast growing companies, she knew she could create a strong brand by offering products with consistent flavor and quality, so she decided to launch the "El Latino"/Intermark Foods from a small warehouse in Doral. From 2002 to 2014, the company grew 11-fold and was selected by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in the nation, and "Top Latino-Run", "Top Women-Owned" and "Top Food and Beverage" companies. Today, El Latino’s product line includes over 120 refrigerated and frozen items and continues growing. Our products are currently distributed in over 800 stores including all the major chains and Hispanic independent supermarkets. In June 2017, El Latino Foods was selected by Amazon's PrimeNow.com site to provide a great variety of products with the convenience of online shopping and 2-hour free delivery.
