Today was my last day as the owner of Reconnected Farms, a journey that started 5 years ago with $900 to my name when I was 22 years old and grew to serve 23 grocery stores and over 30 restaurants in the Driftless area. I was offered a once in a lifetime position to be the Farm Manager at Forest to Fork, a innovative mushroom company in Faribault, MN, along with a merger offer that was too good to pass up. I'm excited for this new opportunity and chapter in my life and thanks to everyone that has helped me get here.

Otis and I got out fishing and got to use worms from Crater Crawlers out of Decorah Iowa. These worms were more durable and active then any worm I've used before. These worms are fed off our mushroom compost and mushroom scraps and are very healthy! Give their page a follow to see what bait shops will be carrying their worms this Spring and Summer.

We welcomed a new member to the family this morning! We arrived at the hospital at 5am and Gus arrived at 5:10am. Momma made it look easy and everyone is doing well. Otis was very excited to meet him.
