Join us Wednesday, July 16th from 6:30–7:30pm for a tasting with East West Wines featuring low-intervention natural wines from Eastern Europe paired with smoked kielbasa and other treats from our deli. We’ll be pouring a selection of wines that are bright, food-friendly, and a little unexpected, exactly the kind of bottles we love bringing into the neighborhood. Tickets are $10. Our grandfather Geno, with kielbasa in hand, at DJ’s Market in 1993. Geno and Teresa came to Boston from Poland with their growing family in 1964. They worked tirelessly to build this market, and in so many ways, the community grew around it. We miss him since 2015 but his hands are still all over this place.
