Before our chai ever fills your cup, the leaf travels from Assam all the way to Boston.

We buy it directly, so we know the people who grow it, how it’s picked, and the floor where it’s laid out to wither.

Chai has never been a solo act.

In India, it comes with something on the side. A biscuit to dunk. A samosa at 6 p.m. Pakoras when it rains.

New to real chai? Start with what you already have. Buttered toast. Banana bread. A shortbread cookie.

Our masala chai is brewed with whole spices and comes as an unsweetened concentrate, so it’s not too sweet and it doesn’t fight whatever’s next to it.

And just like that, festival season is here ✨🪔

Ganesh Chaturthi came and went in a beautiful blur of aarti, family, homemade prasad, color and, naturally, plenty of chai. ❤️

And really, Ganpati is only the beginning.

From now through Diwali, our homes get a little fuller, our clothes a little brighter, our kitchens a lot busier, and the chai somehow keeps finding its way back onto the stove.

Honestly, that might be the part we love most. More FaceTime with friends, amidst the busy, chaotic lives we all lead.

Over the next few weeks, expect this feed to look a little different too: more color, more sparkle, more food, more family, more tradition, and lots and lots of chai. ☕️✨
