There was a time when planting straight rows had nothing to do with technology. No GPS. No auto-steer. Just a farmer, a tractor, and a fixed point at the far end of the field.
A tree. A fence post. A telephone pole. You locked your eyes on it and drove.
The principle is simple — look left or right, you drift. Look behind you, whether to admire your work or dwell on your mistakes, and you go way off course.
The Bible uses farming over and over for analogies for good reason.
Fix your eyes on the right thing. Stay locked in. Your path will be straight.
"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith." — Hebrews 12:2
