There was a time when planting straight rows had nothing to do with technology. No GPS. No auto-steer. Just a farmer, a tractor, and a fixed point at the far end of the field.

A tree. A fence post. A telephone pole. You locked your eyes on it and drove.

The principle is simple — look left or right, you drift. Look behind you, whether to admire your work or dwell on your mistakes, and you go way off course.

The Bible uses farming over and over for analogies for good reason.

Fix your eyes on the right thing. Stay locked in. Your path will be straight.

"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith." — Hebrews 12:2

Experience the timeless harmony of rosemary and garlic in our handcrafted sausage links processed from our grass-fed, pastured Katahdin sheep. Fire up the grill for that irresistible char and herbal aroma. Expertly seasoned with fresh rosemary, garlic, sea salt, and black pepper, then stuffed into natural casings. From our central Pennsylvania pastures to your plate – authentic, farm-fresh lamb sausage done right.

No confinement, no GMO's, no feed lots – pure regenerative farming for superior taste. Sold by the package. Each package contains 4 plump links (approx. 1 lb total), perfect for grilling, pan-searing, or slicing into pasta, breakfast skillets, or hearty stews. Cook to an internal temp of 170 F for an ideal doneness.

Raised on our fourth-generation Pennsylvania farm with diverse clovers, timothy, orchard grass, ryegrass, and native forages as their base diet. Lambs are thoughtfully supplemented with high-quality, non-GMO grains grown on our farm like barley and milo – this ensures robust animal health, exceptional marbling, tender texture, and a clean, mild lamb flavor with zero overpowering gaminess.

A neighbor farmer offered us a lamb whose mother died this morning. He’s now a “bottle lamb” and doesn’t have a mother to feed him. This happens to livestock like sheep and cattle occasionally. Here’s how the team takes care of these lambs.

Lugging 50 lbs of feed for the sheep gets old after a while. We switched to bulk so we can get our custom mix of milo, barley and sunflower feed from Triple-M-Farms. The feed supplements the nutrition the sheep get from the fresh pastures or our own hay in winter. Plus, the feed is made with barley and milo - two crops we grow and deliver to Triple M Farms. Can’t get a whole lot closer to closed loop than that!

The Kieffer family loves this day of the year. Today is Beef Day - the day we go pickup our whole steer from our local farmer-butcher that raised and processed it. Not the ideal night to grill when it’s 15-degrees and windy. But the Kamado works great in any weather.

We’re over half way through lambing and the nursery is bustling with activity. Garret is working on a plan to create overflow and make more space so the ewes and their lambs can continue to be in the barn out of the harsh cold weather we’ve been having in central PA.

Ever wonder why farmers put ear tags in their livestock? Garret and Dusty give the main why’s and show how quickly and painlessly it gets done on day-old lambs.
