We are so disappointed to let everyone know that Granny Mae’s won’t be open this season. With the heat of late August the little pumpkins that could quickly became the little pumpkins that couldn’t. 😔 We love you and will miss you all! 🥰

Granny Mae's offers an old-fashioned fall festival atmosphere with train rides, bonfires, marshmallow roasts, and live music. Choose your favorite pumpkin directly from the vine or wander through the woods where hundreds of pumpkins are tucked among scarecrows and straw bales. Gather up mums, cornstalks, wheat sheaves and Indian corn from the displays around the grounds. Stroll through the Patch’s
Gift Shoppe in the Harvest Barn to see our selection of scarecrows, candles, potpourri and other fall accents. Enjoy a cup of hot cider and roasted peanuts by the fire while the kids enjoy a scavenger hunt in our five-acre corn maze. The Cider House will be well stocked with hotdogs and fun fall foods so you can enjoy lunch in our picnic area. Before leaving be sure to visit "Belly Acres" Old Time Candy Store where you can purchase all of your favorite candies from days gone by.

The Cider House is well stocked with warm cider to enjoy by the fire while snacking on some fresh roasted 🥜 peanuts. It’s time for Granny Mae’s Annual Halloween Party at the Patch! 🎃 Join us Saturday, October 29 for a fun filled day! Search for Golden Tickets in the patch for free pumpkins (all day), join in the Halloween egg hunt (2:00), and enjoy free popcorn at the Crow Bar! Take a stroll through the Field of Dreams or grab a seat and spend some time enjoying 🌽 Corn Poppin’ Tunes with the Pumpkin Patch Pickers (every thirty minutes beginning at 1:30)! We have so many fun things planned for the day and we hope to see you! Open tomorrow 10-6 and Sunday 1-5!
We had to make a tough decision this morning. With the weather forecast the way it is we have decided Granny Mae’s will not be open today. The safety of our visitors and staff will always be our top priority. We have lots of fun things planned for next weekend and we hope to see you then!

We are excited to be hosting our very first Interactive Drum Activity on Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock! Everyone is invited to join Drum Activity Facilitator John Makings where participants of all ages will experience the magic of rhythm and creativity! We are also proud to partner with MarCon Pies this season. 🥧 Come enjoy a piece of pie by the fire or purchase an entire pie to take home! Join us this evening, July 16th, at Granny Mae’s for the Annual Ad Astra Music Festival “Jazz at the Barn”! Live jazz from 8-9:30 along with signature cocktails and a popcorn bar! It’s a magical way to spend a summer evening and all proceeds support the Ad Astra Music Festival! Tickets available at the gate for $20.00 or with season ticket!
Today we had to say goodbye to a treasured member of the Granny Mae’s Pumpkin Patch family. Ronn Raymer has been a valued member of the Pumpkin Patch Pickers for nearly 20 years and it’s hard to imagine a fall season without him. It was a great gift to Granny Mae’s to have him be such a huge part of the team. Happy Trails to you Ronn. Until we meet again.
It’s a BEAUTIFUL DAY at Granny Mae’s! Come join us this weekend as our season comes to a close. Free lunch for kids in costume and trick or treating all over Granny Mae’s. Opening weekend at Granny Mae’s! So many pumpkins and so many fun things to do. We have live music in three different locations on Saturday! The Pumpkin Patch Pickers will be playing in Grandpa’s Grove, 80 Proof Alice will be performing at the Crow Bar and the Hays Middle School Orchestra will be joining us in Pumpkin Hollow! The weather will be perfect for a day at the patch. Grab some chilled cider from The Cider House or an ice cold bottled soda from the Crow Bar and enjoy the music!

We are excited to be bringing the pumpkin patch to the Historic Midland Railroad Hotel in Wilson this weekend! We have loads of freshly picked pumpkins and gourds along with a pickup load of the most beautiful mums! Bring the kids and a wagon and plan on spending the afternoon. We will have the Crow Bar open with cold bottled sodas, freshly dipped caramel apples and lots of other fall goodies. Live music by the Pumpkin Pickers throughout the afternoon. Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11. Noon-5.

We will be at Cecil Bricker Park in downtown Russell on Saturday, October 3 from 10-3! We will also have fresh dipped caramel apples, sugar cookies, and lots of ice cold bottled sodas from “The Crow Bar”. And since Granny Mae’s wouldn’t be the same without the “Pumpkin Patch Pickers” they will be performing from 11-1! While there don’t forget to check out all of the other fun things happening in downtown Russell on Saturday with the Bricks, Broncs and BBQ 2020! We will also have pumpkins for sale at Encore Antiques beginning Tuesday, October 6, and Saturday, October 10th and Sunday, October 11th at the historic Midland Railroad Hotel in Wilson from 12-4. We have spent the summer anticipating being able to welcome everyone to Granny Mae’s with welcome arms. However, with the recent uptick of COVID-19 we have made the decision to not open for the 2020 season. Please, everyone stay safe, and we will see you in 2021!

It’s almost Halloween and we have such a fun weekend planned!! Bring the kids out in costume on Saturday and they can trick or treat all over Granny Mae’s with 8 different spots to get very special treats! At noon we start the annual “Great Jack O’Lantern Search” where kids can search for the specially painted gourds in Gourd Grove for special prizes and at 3:00 we will be hanging the pumpkin piñata for kids to take a swing at! On Sunday afternoon there will be free face painting and, as a special treat compliments of Southwind Bank, 80 Proof Alice will performing live at the Crow Bar! Free trick or treat bags for everyone all weekend (while supplies last).
