🍓🌱 Introducing our “CP Green” Initiative 🌱🍓. .

This year marks a significant step forward as we embrace sustainable practices through our “CP Green” Initiative 🍓🌱

In this photo, you are witnessing the vibrant results of our first year cover crop. We’ve dedicated 250 Acres to nurturing winter rye grass, a crucial part of our post harvest process. This green carpet not only adds to the scenic beauty, but also plays a vital role in enhancing soil health and biodiversity.

In addition to our cover crops, we’re excited to share that we’ve added a 420 WATT roof mounted solar system to the farm, which will save roughly 600 pounds of CO2 emissions annually!

Furthermore, this summer we will be releasing over 15 million predator mites into our fields in an effort to eliminate our need for synthetic pesticide applications. This natural pest control method not only protects our crops, but it helps to maintain a balanced ecosystem without harming the biodiversity on our ranch.

At Cedar Point Nursery, we’re not just about strawberries; we’re about cultivating a sustainable future. Our CP Green Initiative encompasses a holistic approach to responsible farming practices that benefit both us and the environment!

CEDAR POINT NURSERY in Dorris CA, is now hiring applicants for the 2023 Harvest Season. Sept-Nov.

Monday - Saturday, 8 to 10+ hours a day, 40 to 55+ hours a week.

Pay = based off experience & position

Position = Forklift Driver, Tractor Driver, and more!
