This time-lapse makes the work look quick, but caring for our deer takes patience, attention, and a crew that truly loves what they do and our animals.

Ranching and farming are made up of seasons—and every season brings something different.

Most are long and hard. Some are fun and exciting. Many are exhausting, challenging and deeply rewarding. Through it all, there are countless blessings: the camaraderie, the teamwork and the support of those who work alongside us.

Some days feel much the same, but most bring a new challenge, a new lesson or something unexpected. That is simply ranch life.

As one busy season begins to wind down, another is just around the corner. We are now preparing for hunting season—a special time of year at White Ghost Ranch filled with anticipation, hard work and the opportunity to share the ranch with our guests.

Every season has a purpose, and we are grateful for each one. 🤎

New life on the ranch is always something special. ❤️ We’ve enjoyed watching our momma's welcome their newest little ones—and seeing those babies get up and explore the world around them. There’s nothing quite like calving season at White Ghost Ranch!

Meet our two newest bottle babies! 🍼🐮

Sadly, one calf lost its mother, while the other appears to have been abandoned—we aren’t completely sure what happened. Thankfully, our crew stepped in, and both calves are now being bottle-fed and receiving plenty of care and attention.

Ranch life doesn’t always go as planned, but taking care of our animals is always a team effort. ❤️

Hunting season is right around the corner! 🦌

As we look forward to another season at White Ghost Ranch, we’re reminded of crisp mornings, beautiful Hill Country scenery, good company, and experiences that stay with you long after the hunt is over.

We’re ready to make more great memories this season!

Last night, our crew—along with the help of a wonderful neighbor—worked together to save this momma and her newborn baby. We’re so thankful for everyone who stepped in and stayed until the job was done. ❤️

It was a late night under a beautiful Texas sky, but seeing momma and baby safe made it all worthwhile. These are the moments that remind us what ranching, teamwork, and good neighbors are all about.

It's been HOT working on the ranch—and this forecast wasn't offering much relief! 🥵☀️

The animals still need to be fed, watered, checked, and cared for no matter what the thermometer says. We are especially thankful for our hardworking crew putting in the long, hot days to keep everything running at White Ghost Ranch.

Is anyone else ready for fall? 🍂
