It was a tree clean up kind of day! Our home and property suffered some damage, but everyone is present and accounted for. Hope all of you were safe during the Hurricane.

Of course it’s still 90 degrees around here, but we can still be excited about the first day of Fall!

I realized today that it’s been a long while since I’ve posted anything. Work on the farm came to a complete stop after I injured my knee.

Im no where near completely better but within this last month and a half I’ve learned to accept my current circumstances and move forward. So whether that’s with my brace, crutches, a scooter……it has all helped to keep me mobile.

We know you guys have been reaching out to us and we appreciate the support. We ask that you please be patient with us as we SLOWLY get back moving.

Happy Saturday! This herbal garden is out of control, but the beauty is still shining through. Hope your day is as beautiful as these flowers are!

Love walking out the back door and harvesting food! This is the last of the cucumbers for a while. They will be taken off the site while we succession plant for Fall. The second round of tomatoes went into the ground yesterday, but we do still have plenty growing.

Would you believe that these potatoes were planted late and they still produced about 74 pounds!?! 🎉

Of course some were waterlogged due to the excessive rain, but that’s just more “fuel” in the compost pile. Between these ones and the red potatoes we harvested lasted month from
just one raised bed, we estimate we were right around 86 pounds!

This is the most our small family farm has ever grown. ❤️

Now we can’t wait to see what next year brings when we can actually plant on time.
