What a way to end our very first season at Poplar Head Farmers Market ❤️

Today also marked another milestone for our little family bakery: our 1,000th loaf sold in our first year of business. Somehow it feels fitting that it happened on the very last market of the season.

To our incredible customers, thank you for every purchase, review, conversation, and word of encouragement. To our fellow vendors, thank you for welcoming us with open arms and making us feel like part of the family from day one. This community has been an absolute blessing, and we're so grateful to have been a small part of it.

We're taking a week to recharge before announcing where you can find Păsăre Mică next. Until then, if your pantry is running low on the best sourdough in the Wiregrass, you can always order for local pickup or delivery at www.pasaremica.com.

Over the last year, we've baked and sold close to 1,000 loaves of sourdough. 🍞

Every loaf represents a customer who chose to support our little family, and we truly can't thank you enough. What started as a dream has grown because of all of you.

There's a lot more behind every loaf than just baking. 🍞

Our logo, business cards, menus, banner, labels, photos, videos, website, and social media are all created in-house. We track our own data, learn from every market, and keep making small improvements every week.

And somehow, we do it all while raising young Jackson, because Păsăre Mică has always been a true family business. ❤️

We believe the same care we put into every part of this business is the same care that goes into every loaf. No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just hard work, family, and a commitment to bringing the Wiregrass the best sourdough we know how to make.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who stopped by the market today. ❤️

Hearing so many of you tell us you've left reviews means more than you know. Every review, every kind word, and every loaf you bring home helps our little family business keep growing.

You all cleared us out in just over two hours, and we're incredibly grateful for the support.

After the market and an afternoon of house hunting, we're finally sitting down to grilled chicken sandwiches, seasoned with our Transylvanian Paprika Rub, and topped with the incredible Diablo Dill Slaw from Throckmorton's Table. If you haven't tried them out, do yourself a favor. They have so many options that pair perfectly with just about any of our sourdough loaves.

Thank you for another amazing Saturday. We'll see you all again soon! ❤️🍞
