Our first major project is officially underway! We’ve got some work happening around the pumps and tanks this week, and we’re pretty excited to see this one getting started.

Another weekend in the books at The Junction! 🙌

Didn’t get quite as much done as we hoped, but progress is progress—no matter how big or small!

First weekend cleaning up The Junction.

We made some progress, got plenty dirty , and had the chance to meet a few of our neighbors.

The warm welcomes and great conversations made us feel right at home. 🥰

I’d say that’s a pretty good first weekend.

Well… today we officially rolled up our sleeves and got our first REAL taste of what we’ve gotten ourselves into. 😂

And boyyyyy… do we have our work cut out for us. 😅

Cleaning, repairs, more cleaning… and probably quite a few things we haven’t even found yet. 😂

We knew this place needed a lot of love, but WHEW… she’s going to make us earn it.

Little by little, weekend by weekend.

Tuesday is Closing Day!!

It’s hard to put into words how we’re feeling right now. There’s so much excitement, but we also know just how much lies ahead.

There’s a tremendous amount of work waiting on us, and we’ll be bringing it back to life little by little, one project at a time.

A new chapter begins Tuesday. 🤎

🤎 Welcome to The Junction Country Store 🤎

For years, we drove past Country Friends and found ourselves asking the same simple question…

“What if?”

What if someone gave it another chance?

What if the doors opened again?

What if this little corner of our community became a place where neighbors gathered, stories were shared, and familiar faces always felt welcome?

We never imagined that one day, we’d have the opportunity to answer those questions ourselves.

We plan to close on the property in mid-August 2026, and with that begins a brand-new chapter.

We know this journey won’t happen overnight. There’s a lot of work ahead, and we’re committed to doing it with care. Our hope isn’t just to restore a building—it’s to create a place where everyone feels welcome and where new memories can be made for years to come.

We’ll be sharing every step along the way—the progress, the challenges, the victories, and everything in between.

To everyone who has memories of Country Friends, thank you for loving this place before us. We hope to honor those memories while creating new ones for generations to come.
