Happy {Almost} Spring! ☀️🌱🌷
We haven’t posted in a WHILE and we have some new followers {👋🏼} So a quick little reintroduction of who we are and why we’re here!
We are the Scott Family and we’ve lived in Douglas for over 10 years! We have 4 kids who are active on the farm🚜, in 4H 🍀, in sports 🏈🏀, in Church ✝️, and more! We are a busy family committed to being active in our community, learning new things, and sharing our knowledge with others! Chris & I have enjoyed having animals since before we moved to our farm and after years of working towards goals and growing our herd of cattle I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else! We love to see people interested in knowing where their food comes from and supporting local, especially small family farms 😊
One of the many things our kids learned was understanding that we feed our animals so they feed us. Lots of people are becoming more and more interested in doing the same, and I personally love it! So if you’ve been thinking of raising your own animal for your family, reach out we’d love to chat! We have calves and piglets {coming soon} if you’re interested in getting started on the journey!
We have freezers full of assorted cuts, but we also offer fractions of beef and pork. Ordering a portion of an animal is the best way to fill your own freezer with assorted cuts! Whole, Half or even less we can accommodate! Not ready just yet? Need time to make room for a freezer…Pre-order!!
Ordering a half or whole animal means we can work with you on filling out a cut sheet to ensure you get the most meats of your choice!
