The neighbors were out at the farm today.

1” rain = 27,154 gallons of water per acre. We got 3.75” rain or 101,827.5 gallons of water per acre. Our 130 acres took in 13,237,575 gallons of water last night. And that’s just our land. Needless to say the pond was bone dry yesterday and now has 3-4’ of water on it. Let’s hope the terraces drain the way they should so the corn doesn’t drown.
