For many years, Curtis Farrar brought our community together around the Thanksgiving table, providing a meal and a place for neighbors to gather during the holiday season. 🍂

After nearly two decades, Farrar, Hennesy and Tanner is honored to bring this tradition back with the Curtis Farrar Day of Thanks.

These brisket fries are by far the BEST fries I’ve ever eaten. 😭🔥 Easily a 100/10! And if brisket fries aren’t your thing, they have plenty of other food options to choose from and everything looks SO good!

I’ve really enjoyed my lunch today. Definitely worth the stop! 🥰🍟

Two years ago today. 🥹

Like most of you, for the last 10 days we have been personally dealing with the devastation of Hurricane Helene. No power, no running water, but by the grace of God our home and lives were not harmed.

A week ago, when we realized that our new location had power, we knew we couldn’t sit idle. We had two empty fridges and one empty freezer (because we were in the process of moving in to get up and running 😅) and knew people were on the verge of losing what they had.

1 Peter 4:10 says, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” Well, one of us loves to cook and the other loves to serve people. So that’s what we decided to do.

For seven days straight, we have seen and felt the overwhelming presence of God in and around our beloved community. We’ve connected with strangers on the deepest level possible, and we’ve seen YOU do the same. Never in our wildest dreams did we envision this would be how we’d launch our brick and mortar into the world, but here we are. 🥹

With all that said, tomorrow (Monday, 10/7) we will be resting. Sort of. 😅 We will be deep cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing the restaurant. We will also be attempting to fix some plumbing issues, get our gas line run, new stove/griddle hooked up, etc. (🚨 We will also be distributing donations to some of “our” little areas that we’ve come to know and love over the last week and a half. If you’d like to help with this, please send us a message!)

While there’s a ton of red tape that we must get through so that we can legitimately open for business, we are doing everything we can to make it happen this week. Promise! We are so excited to bring ✨ BIRRIA ✨ and all your other faves back…S👀N!

P.S. If you’re wondering how many meals we’ve served out of this little kitchen so far, your guess is as good as ours. 🤪 Ultimately, though, it doesn’t matter. We are genuinely grateful to have the ability to serve Coffee and surrounding counties, and pray we continue to have the opportunity for many years to come.
