Delilah has been doing amazing her second lactation. She remembers the drill perfectly. Comes in and eats while she’s getting milked. We still hobbled her because I have anxiety about not doing it. She really likes kicking off the claw when she first got trained. We’ve not been doing the kick bar on her, but my anxiety won’t let me milk without anything on her even though she’s not raised a foot yet this milking.

Delilah had herself a little girl.
She’s half longhorn, fourth jersey and montebeliarde.
We will keep her over the winter and she’ll be for sale when she is weaned.
After some research we did find that a good amount of longhorn cattle are A2A2 so this girl has a good chance of being an A2A2 girlie. We will be sending off a sample to have tested for this.

Peppers into the car for a sunbath. I have apples, oranges and cranberries in the dehydrator for simmer pot packs (about holiday time 😬) and tossing peppers in there with them is sure to not turn out well. So these will pre dehydrate for a few hours in the hot hot car. Thank you 90* October day.
