Sweater weather is here, and it all starts with shearing day 🦙🧶 Once a year, every spring, our herd gets a fresh haircut on our farm in Douglasville so they stay cool through the Georgia summer. Then friends gather around the table to skirt each fleece by hand, picking out the hay and bits so only the softest fiber is left. Alpaca fleece is soft, light, and warmer than wool, just right for cozy fall days. Want to meet the fluffy crew behind all that fiber?
