The Triple F Homestead Chris and Amanda are a passionate duo building a fast-growing homestead. We currently raise English Angora, American, Palomino, and French Lop Rabbits.

Amanda loves creating homemade items like vanilla extract and fantastic sourdough creations. Chris and Amanda left the bustling city life of Jacksonville, FL, to embark on a new adventure in Douglasville, GA. Embracing a desire for a simpler, more self-sufficient lifestyle, they started a homestead that is now home to goats, chickens, ducks, and rabbits. The couple is thriving in their new rural community, enjoying the process of cultivating their own food, raising animals, and living closer to nature. This move has marked the beginning of a fulfilling and sustainable way of life, filled with hard work, learning, and the joys of country living.

We are officially on baby watch for these two girls. 🐰

With the storm coming, I didn't want to take any chances. I went out and got some new cameras so I can keep a close eye on them, and they're settled in and ready.

Unfortunately, Lava already had her kits and they were all stillborn. It's the hard part of this work, but we're hopeful for the next two litters.

What a great weekend for Triple F Homestead! We were at the West Georgia RC Fall Show in Carrollton yesterday and had a blast. Our French Lops and Palominos got excellent feedback all day, plus a few Best in Breed wins for both.

The highlight though was our senior Palomino buck took Best in Show for rare breed! So proud of that boy Chicken

Big congrats to our friend Hairy Buns Rabbitry too, her gorgeous Argent Brun took Reserve in Show in Rare Breed.

Since I wasn't showing or grooming Angoras this time around, I actually got to walk around and snap a bunch of candid photos. Sharing some of my favorites below

Diesel prices are getting so high I'm officially trading in the truck for a broomstick. Figure I can strap a couple hay bales on the back and just yeet myself to the feed store from now on. Only downside is the goats don't respect me nearly as much when I show up covered in broom soot instead of diesel fumes. Send thoughts, prayers, and maybe a coupon to the gas stations.
