we harvested honey from our hives this week so i wanted to incorporate that into this weeks homeschooling! i like to keep activities quick and fun, especially with a newborn at home now. so we did a couple of worksheets i found online, did an art activity that required veryyy minimal clean up, and did some reading. what are some of your favorite ways to incorporate what you’re doing with what your kids are learning? let me know, i need some activity ideas!

spent the weekend in augusta, ga for the Augusta Locally Grown conference and it was so much fun! we gained some great knowledge and wisdom during the farm tours and classes they had to offer, and my baby got to run around and make some friends (she’s still talking about them lol). we stopped to spend time with family and introduce our newest addition to his great grandma and some of his great aunts & uncles 💕 i’m thankful for this much needed little getaway!

5 DAYS!! we’re welcoming our new baby boy or girl veryyyy soon and i couldn’t be more ready. this time around i was a lot less anxious than i was my first pregnancy but i feel like i was 10x more tired! hopefully i can get a few more things done in these last couple days- in between my naps lol. idk if the garden will be seeing me again for a while though 😂😭😭

bye bye july 🌸 last month was all about family fun but it’s time to lock in for august! this is the last full month before the new baby arrives and i have so much to do!!
i’ll be posting more this month- i have a lot of preserving and food prep to do to make postpartum easier. i’ve been thinking about posting some toddler “homeschool” content since the school year is starting.. let me know below what you want to see!
