Hello apple lovers! 2025 apple season is starting out slow. We have a few early varieties for baking or hardcore (no pun intended) apple eaters. Greenings for baking and early Zestar for eating or baking. Keep in mine every day apples will get a little sweeter. We are open 8:oo am until dark.

For those who enjoy tart apples or what we refer to as "whincers", we have very early Zestar and Paula Red. The stand is open 8am to 7pm. Looking forward to seeing you!

August 23 2022 update from command central (apple bench)

Zestar little tart. Little sweet, crazy good as a pie or crisp also they cook up fast as a baked apple

Paula Red. Just like a McIntosh but not a McIntosh , hard crisp and a little tang. Each week they will get sweet and great for everything.

Ginger Gold. Ripening slowly, we are picking the apples with any color, yum this is a terrific salad apple. They do not brown and hold a slice when baked.

Our Duchess of Olenburg are having a great yield, if you haven't tried them in a pie or crisp you could be missing the experience of many generations of old Yankee bakers.

That's all folks!

Thanks
