Happy New Year!! Meet Henry! This lil guy didn’t want to miss out on the holiday celebrations and came a few weeks early 🥰. We’ve been soaking in the family time and getting rest while we can. Madison has been super sweet with her little brother and the dogs have been loving him too 🥲.

2026 has already started off as a heartwarming year and we can’t wait to see what else is in store for our family!

Wishing everyone a healthy and happy new year! 🎉✨

📣 First frost announcement for Thursday!

Am I sad that this may be the end of fresh flowers? Yes. But also, I’m 7 months pregnant and okay if this is the end.

Tulips will be arriving soon from and I’m excited for a beautiful (and busy 👶🏻) winter tulip growing season!

I suppose I could use a little break before they arrive 🙃. I’ll be happy either way-if they survive, I’ll be happy for more blooms! And if they don’t, I’ll take it as a sign that it’s time to clean up and get ready for the tulips.

Here are (maybe the last) bouquets headed to today. Grab em while they’re here! Cuz they might be the last 🫢

Some photos of our bouquets & arrangements 🌸🌻💐

It’s hard to believe, but this is our third summer growing!

A recap:
Summer 2023: Our first summer, everything grew really slowly, despite starting early seedlings and planting at the right times. We learned that soil health is literally everything 🫣. We knew from the beginning that we wanted to grow our flowers with NO herbicides, pesticides, or harmful chemicals. So we dove deep learning about regenerative practices such as cover cropping and integrated pest management (aka creating a healthy ecosystem for good bugs to fight the bad bugs)

Summer 2024: We were balancing a newborn and all of the postpartum healing. Running back and forth a lot and quite frankly, it was super chaotic 🤪. It was still fun, but I was exhausted!

Summer 2025: We consciously decided to slow down and take a break. We decided to prioritize family time and took some trips to visit family. The garden is slower than most folks’ because we direct seeded so much. But this is setting us up well for beautiful late summer and fall blooms. We still have enough flowers to make bouquets at our regular stores and we’ve loved sharing our blooms with our Summer Subscribers (our version of a flexible summer CSA).

It’s a wild ride over here. Learning something new all of the time and tweaking here and there to make this flower farming business a sustainable thing for our growing family ❤️. We are so so thankful for the support folks have shown us! Thank you for supporting local and supporting our journey 🫶🌻🌸🐝🌱

Some Summer Subscribers bouquets 🌸

I’ve decided to have a slower summer season since I’ll be traveling a bit. But I’ve started a “Summer Subscribers” email list where I email folks the weeks I have flowers so that folks interested in weekly bouquets can get them with a discount.

It’s been great since a lot of folks also travel during the summer so they can have flowers while they’re here and not worry about the weeks they aren’t here ☺️.

To our summer subscribers, thank you for still supporting our small family flower farm! And for anyone who is interested in joining, comment below or send a DM.

My bellflowers came up a little short this year (it’s also my first year growing them), but I absolutely ADORE them! 😍 you’ll find these in arrangements this week. And for those of you interested in having them in bouquets, just let me know and I’ll find a way to add them 🥰.

Happy June everyone!
