Why are there so many roosters in Key West?

No natural predators. Warm weather year-round. A city that decided to just let them be.

They're protected. They sleep in the trees. They walk into restaurants. They cross Duval whenever they feel like it.

Nobody is in a hurry to stop them. That's very Key West.

What's your rooster story? 👇
