Throwing out feelers for anyone , prob good for a high schooler , that LOVES animals , that would want to make a few extra bucks after school 3 or 4 nights a week , maybe one weekend day every two months or so for a few hours of heavier work deep cleaning stalls ( heavy lifting ) . Prob would take an hr or less for the weekday stuff . I need someone to come feed the farm animals , clean out a stall and fill waters and put animals up . I’m starting two new jobs and will not be able to be home to do so . This would be perfect for someone that has their own transport , goes to Durant ( I’m right off Durant road near Dover ) and maybe is in ffa or ag and wants to learn more . I have a horse , about 18 goats and some birds . It’s pretty easy but it must be someone that isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty .. it’s a farm . This is just a side gig thing and must have parents permission to do so , must be over 16 and trustworthy .. This is a cash thing .. if this sounds like you or your kid , pm me ! Feeding times change with the season but generally around 6 -6:30 , dead of winter it’s about 4:30 or 5 pm

Congratulations Pearl and Jack ! To QUADS !!!! I believe it’s 3 girls one boy ! Will know better once they’re dried ! Pearl is about three yrs old and came to us about a yr and a half ago , she’s a first time mama and she did great ! I was so lucky to be there to assist since
 I had just gotten off work, even though these little ones were tiny , so is mama ! I assisted with coconut oil To help her be comfortable , and assisted in cleaning them up . Once I was able to get their airways and heads cleaned off she took over and did good !! about 20 minutes after having the first two)which were 5 min apart ) she popped out a third then about 20 minutes later she had a fourth which was my surprise. I figured she would have twins, but never quads not only is she a first time mama but Jack is also a first time dad this is also the first time that this farm has had quadruplets in 35 years!!! we still have nine more mamas to go the rest of them except for three being Jack’s babies, so let’s see what he throws this season!!! The other three out of 9 left are wi***es girlfriends ( since it’s jacks mom sister and aunt ) And she was two days early from due date! So we’re all on schedule!!

We’re dealing with a dry pasture and drought guys ! We’ve been tryin to get whatever sprinkler we can on the pasture for our many gopher tortoises since they get any water or moisture from what they eat .. our hoses only go so far , but if anyone would like to donate lettuce heads or melons for them to munch on let me know ! Wiki said they’ll drink from standing water if there’s a drought so I’ve set up a watering station in our drive way ( so the goats won’t get it ) for them , but they’d be more enticed to eat lettuce and high water content foods 🙂 we’ve lost a few over the past few months and we hate to see if even tho it’s natural .. we’ll do what we can !

Marley update ! Day 4 and still no bag found , she’s actin ok so I’ll be putting her back into the pasture . With some luck I can check the pasture in the coming days and find it . Please refrain from letting any younger kids come to feed treats to any of the farm animals without an adult , mistakes can happen , injury can happen , etc . Please be with your kids while they try to feed . Also , as a reminder , take any food out of any bag or bucket or basket , then throw the food into the pasture !! Do not try to hand feed any of them as they can mistake fingers for foods , and the goats can get their head stuck reaching for the treats ! If you ever see issues or something off , call or text 813-403-8668 or 863-255-1233 if the first number doesn’t respond in a timely manner 🙂 everyone loved the attention and treats , but we have to keep EVERYONE safe :)

UPDATE - with the help of our amazing neighbors we got the info we needed ! Send prayers our way ! I was able to give Marley a mineral oil drench and luckily it was a small sandwich bag so that’s better ! I will keep updates as we go 🙂
I’m looking for the parents of a little girl actually two little girls in what could’ve been a school uniform about 5:30 pm this evening 5/20/24 that came to the farm Fenceline today and went to the neighbors house because apparently they had a plastic bag with fruit in it and the horse ate the bag.. so they notified the neighbor but I need to be clear on what kind or size of a bag that she ate. This could be a very severe or fatal issue for my horse, and I need to know how to go forward .. all she told the neighbor was that it was a plastic bag I need to know if we’re talking about a sandwich bag or a grocery bag !! thank you little girl was blond with a navy polo shirt, and I believe a skirt with a little fake fox tail on her behind lol and the friend had i Believe and black shirt with kacki‘s , darker hair a little taller . They were prob 10 Or under . I’m not mad at the girls , I just need more info . I’m appreciative that they told someone . But please keep in mind , anyone younger than 15 should prob have a parent or gaurdian with them to prevent such mistakes from happening . Again , I’m very happy the girls said something ! It was very courageous for them to tell someone !! You may have saved marleys life 🙂

Well we’ve had a pumpkin patch going on from the chickens um .. discard goin for a while and the last one turned orange and then the next day I went to pick it and the bugs got to it before i could ! So the bottom was all rotten .. not this time suckers ! I’ve got two more on the vine that might make it !
