You may not know this, but before before moving to NC, and starting this little regenerative farm, we were missionaries in Recife, Brazil. Chris and I played soccer in college, and were blessed to be able to use the God given talent and love of the game to share the Gospel with the youth and their families.
Our friends and ministry partners, Craig and Mary DeLille will be visiting this weekend from Brazil!

Working on keeping our old barn protected from the elements. The green tar paper was coming off and the large doors needed some flashing, so Chris made some from reclaimed tin. It’s amazing how easily water can damage these material things. It reminds us of the Bible verse about storing up our treasures in heaven, and not here on earth.
We often wonder why we don’t live in a tiny house or a teardrop trailer like we used to. It would be a lot less work, that’s for sure!

DIY Floral Buckets are a great way to save some money on fresh blooms! We offer buckets starting at $30 including flowers and greenery. We love being able to supply local florists with flowers that are all grown right here on our farm. Didn’t they do a great job with these arrangements?

Got to keep an eye on your girl!
These roosters are such gentlemen, protecting the hens out in the woods. They make the neatest sounds when they find food and allow the girls to eat it first. Although some of them do seem to use that as a trick for their own interests at times.
