Anyone else watching food pricing drift higher?

I’m not surprised- I’ve been expecting it since the spring.

Since every penny counts I had some peppers in the fridge that I didn’t want to lose. I expected to use them already but since i haven’t I chopped them up and have frozen them in 8oz portions. I use bell pepper A LOT. So these will definitely not go to waste.

In fact I should probably buy “extra” on my next shopping trip and do this again. Not only will it save me money but also time. Future me loves when I can pull out chopped pepper for a recipe!

How are you saving money at the grocery store?

Puddles decided to sight see next door and then couldn’t get back.

They were obviously upset to be separated from the other five Puddles and spent their day walking back and forth trying to figure out how to get home.

They didn’t even check out the neighbors pond which is a missed opportunity. But if they had I might be down two ducks because I would never be able to get them OUT of the pond.

We had to go rescue them. The oldest gave them a talking too. We’ll see if it sticks!

Holly & Rufus approve of the new barn! I’m so glad they like it! They spent some time checking it out❤️. Of course being close to house to get more scratches might be the best part!
