Flower farmer diary. March 19 🦹

Zone 6A flower farmer here - currently bipolar. One day I’m sprinting towards spring, the next I’m stuck in winter hibernation. Flowers peeking out from under the snow gave me hope, but today? Snow, wind, cold. Thousands of seedlings are growing in my greenhouse and basement, but I’m stuck waiting for the ground to thaw. Ranunculus, anemone, snapdragons... and so many more. Planting seeds by hand is my cardio, btw. Thousands down, thousands to go. Bring on warmer days, please!

Every bloom and every product here is grown with intentional care and a lot of heart. But our mission doesn’t stop at our own garden gates; we are so proud to stand alongside and support the many other brilliant women-run businesses in our local community.

Snowstorm outside. Tropical dinner inside. 🌿

This dinner at Mila in downtown Exeter was all about contrast — moody greens, blush and berry tones, sculptural florals, and fruit layered right into the tablescapes to create warmth and movement.

Brittany from Brittany S Events brought the vision to life so beautifully, and I had the joy of transforming the tables and designing a statement bar piece with a custom cocktail sign by Kate’s Calligraphy.

Four incredible courses by The White Apron, stunning captures by Rae Of Sun Photos, and a room that felt like a warm escape on the coldest night.

Long days. Frozen fingers. Full heart. ✨
