🌧️ Well, y’all… this forecast is doing the MOST! ☔🍞

With the weather looking so uncertain, Daily Bread Milling Co. will be sitting out our markets this weekend, October 9–10.

We love seeing your sweet faces, but soggy flour and a flying canopy aren’t on our fall menu! 😂 We’re disappointed, but keeping our family and our products safe comes first.

This is a change to our attendance—not an announcement that the markets themselves are canceled. Please check with each organizer for their updates.

I love yall, but if yall miss us this fall, that’s between you and the Lord at this point because I done posted the whole schedule. 😂🍂

Daily Bread Milling Co. is out here making the rounds this fall with all the good stuff — fresh-milled flour, heritage grains, small-batch mixes, grits, cornbread, breads, and cozy little goodies that taste like somebody’s grandma still knew what she was doing.

From the field to the milk pail… this is what “daily bread” looks like around here.

This morning’s bowl started with our Bloody Butcher heirloom grits — stone-ground from that gorgeous deep-red corn — made extra rich and creamy with local goat milk from Merry Oak Manor Dairy . Add an egg on top and you’ve got the kind of breakfast that’ll make you wonder why we ever complicated food in the first place. 😏

And I couldn’t help but think of this:
“You shall have enough goats’ milk for your food, for the food of your household…” — Proverbs 27:27

Now THAT will preach. 🙌

Grain from the field.
Milk from the goat.
Eggs from the hen.

Food made by the hands God gave us.
There is something pretty special about knowing where your food comes from — and even sweeter when one local farm can support another.
