Farm life is a blessing, and a joy, but occasionally it comes w some pains. This week we lost “Miss Crook’, my son hand raised her. Due to her crooked beak eating and drinking was difficult, so he spent a lot of time daily hand feeding her. Here is the beautiful bird here, in all of her sassiness, she was so much more than just a chicken.

Cookie Dough Acres is named after this little studs sire, Cookie Dough. Sadly we lost Cookie, but he left us this little surprise that was born about 4 months later. Snickerdoodle is a yearling standing at 27.5” tall! Here he is learning to stand tied.
