Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. It was a beautiful few days for blueberry picking — so many of you came out and enjoyed the sunshine and the berries!

If you haven’t picked yet, make sure you get out and grab some this week. The the berries are delicious. 💙🫐

Yesterday while I was manning the stand in case any pickers arrived during the time the loggers were taking down a tree near our driveway, I picked a few berries for myself and ended up getting quite the surprise — a fawn and its mama deer startled me. I heard her snort and turned around to find the baby standing right behind me. Moments like that remind me how beautiful nature can be.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature hasn’t been kind to the blueberries this year. The early frost took a heavy toll, and the heat along with the hard rain and storms have knocked a lot of berries to the ground. Because of that, this may be our last week of picking, with the season ending very early.

The next few days will be sunny, warm, and perfect for anyone who wants to get in a little U‑pick before the season wraps up. We appreciate everyone who has come out this year despite the challenges — your support means a lot.

Update: Tree is down and we can reopen. They are still cleaning up but the dangerous part is down. You can pull up in the grass next to the weigh stand to be out of the way of the skidders. Come on on out. I have just been picking some for myself and I think they might be done in about a week due to the weather.

CLOSED today July 7th. We are having a tree removed by our driveway today and we want to make sure everyone is safe. We will reopen tomorrow or maybe even later today. We will keep the page updated. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I hope everyone has a great day.

🌳 Heads up for our U‑pick friends! 🫐

We will be having a tree removed by our driveway tomorrow — Tuesday, July 7th — and because of the equipment and activity in the area, it may not be a good day for blueberry picking.

For everyone’s safety and comfort, we recommend choosing another day to come out and enjoy the field. Thank you for understanding, and we’ll be back to normal picking right after the work is done! Sorry for any inconvenience..

After all the rain and humidity we’ve had, today feels absolutely amazing — breezy, clear, and perfect for getting outside. Our naturally grown blueberries are ripe, sweet, and ready for U‑pick, and the fields feel wonderful right now.

If you’ve been waiting for the weather to break, today is your day. Come on out, enjoy the sunshine, and fill a bucket (or two!) with fresh Michigan blueberries.

Blueberry season is officially here.
Our naturally grown berries are ripe and ready, the buckets are out, and the scales are waiting.
Just a heads‑up: sunscreen and bug spray can hurt the fruit, so spray away from the bushes.
If you prefer cooler picking, the field is nicely shaded after 5 PM.
Please be careful in the heat this week
