Rickey's Farm We are a small farm in Dowling MI.

We raise registered Nigerian Dwarf goats, serama chickens, old spot/red wattle hogs, meat rabbits.We have multiple gardens where we raise and can most of the food we eat throughout the year.

Our family got 9 rabbits and one meat chicken butchered this afternoon. We are raising freedom rangers this year and we keep having issues with them becoming immobile. This is the 3rd one now. They will be 12 weeks over Labor Day weekend. We will see how many make it to that date. Haha We have 4 piglets left for sale. Hopefully we find new farms for them soon. I finally got all the DNA back on the goats and got them registered. I'm going to try and get them posted this week. We will have 3 maybe 4 females for sale.

The piglets are 6 weeks old. I'm going to get some weights on them this weekend, but they are ready for new barns.

Got the 7 boys castrated yesterday! Definitely not my favorite part of owning hogs. But we are able to do it quickly. I cannot believe they will be 4 weeks Thursday.

The piglets are 3 weeks old! It sure does go by fast. They've been enjoying me weeding the garden and throwing them what a pull. The shade tarp we put up is working amazingly and they love the wallow!! We plan to castrate the males Monday morning. I was hoping to get it done sooner, but I have some strong boys to help hold.

I will be in Muskegon all day tomorrow with my daughter. We have been attending a photography festival there this week. She has been learning so many amazing things. It's been a fun time with her.
