Hicks Texas Longhorns is owned and operated by Johnny and Missy Hicks. It is located in Dowling, MI. Here at Hicks Texas Longhorns we like to raise a total package animal. This means the animal should not only have a good pedigree, but will also have good confirmation, color and horn. Our herd is a combination of several great lines including: Phenomenon, Emperorer, Jp Rio Grande, WS Sun Rise, VJ

Tommy and Bob Loomis breeding to just name a few. Our cattle are colorful, well built and gentle. It is very important to have gentle mild mannered cattle as this is a family run farm and we have 4 sons and a daughter. Johnny and I do all of the work with cattle by ourselves so they must be easy for one or two people to work. Texas Longhorns are amazing creatures and I encourage you to check them out and see if they can work for you!!
