🔥🐷 We’ve been BUSY… and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

This week took us from a Top Gun themed corporate party in downtown Chicago, serving roughly 400–450 guests ✈️🕶️, to another incredible corporate event featuring a massive 16-item food spread including brisket, baby back ribs and plenty more. 🤤🔥

Corporate events. Big crowds. Big flavors. Big experiences.

We’ve been staying busy, feeding hungry people and doing what we love most: bringing people together over incredible food.

🐷 Around here, every pig needs a name. 😂

We tried Peppa once… turns out the kids weren’t too happy seeing Peppa become dinner. 😳🔥

Lesson learned.

Now we stick with hurricane names. 🌪️🐷

Less emotional damage. Same delicious BBQ. 😂

🐷🔥 100 POUNDS OF PIG + WOLVERINE CLAWS… what could possibly go wrong?! 😂

Tim’s breaking down today’s whole hog roast…a 100-pound pig that’ll give us roughly 50–60 pounds of fresh pulled pork, enough to feed around 80 hungry people. We’ve only got 60 guests today, so you already know… NOBODY is leaving hungry! 💪🍖

Then come the Wolverine claws. 🐺😂 We pull that pork fresh, right off the bone, while your guests watch.

And Carl’s secret rub? Apparently it’s a carefully guarded combination of black dirt, sand, pepper and “gutter stuff.” 🤦‍♂️😂

Don’t worry… Big Red has been known to exaggerate once or twice.

This is why we say we’re more than catering. It’s dinner AND a show.

🐷🔥 Low and slow… then CRANK UP THE HEAT!

That’s how we do it at Big Red’s.

We slow-roast our pigs around 225–250° to get that tender, juicy meat… then finish them HOT to create that crispy, crunchy chicharrón-style skin everyone fights over. 🤤

And if you’re hanging around Carl long enough, don’t be surprised if he convinces you to try the tongue too. 😂 Add a little Big Red’s BBQ sauce and you might just discover a new favorite!
