Signups are officially open for our 7-week Winter CSA!

The season will run from December 5-19, with a two week break over the holidays, and then continuing from January 9-30.

Pickups will be on Saturdays from 10am - noon. However, we will be happy to bag shares and put them in our Farm Store fridge for those who cannot come on Saturdays.

Similar to our Summer/Fall Season, you’ll be able to customize your share to your liking and choose from a variety of add-ons from other local farms and producers each week.

The cost of the 7-week season is $240 ($34/wk). We do accept payment plans, so this does not need to be paid in full when you sign up.

There is only one share size for the Winter Share. We will continue to have a Buyer’s Club option if you would like to buy-in week by week instead of signing up for a full season membership.

Produce to expect in the winter share will be a mix of storage crops like winter squash, cabbage, carrots, and rutabagas and fresh produce like lettuce, chard, kale, greens mix, spinach, and more!

Last week, Owen, Jake M, Tee, and Aojun were hard at work making Piri Piri Sauce! 🌶️🫑 This vibrant sauce is perfect as a marinade, cooking base, condiment, and flavor booster that brings the heat but also a sharp, citrusy tang balanced with garlicky savoriness. At this cozy tea party at the Farm, we will explore the methods & benefits of drying produce, herbs, and flowers as well as how to balance flavors in your own blends.

You’ll also get to try all of Forge Hill's tea blends paired with Forge Hill honey and seasonal treats.

Jake M. was our resident jalapeño chopper last week as we made and canned over 30 1/2 pint jars of delicious Jalapeño Pepper Jelly 🌶️

This jelly is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. It’s a tasty spread for crackers and a soft cheese, a great addition to a grilled ham & cheese, a burger topping, or used to make slow-cooked meatballs for a flavorful kick.

Jelly comes in an 8oz glass jar and costs $5.

New Farm Store Product: Garlic Basil Tomato Sauce 🧄🍅

Our Tomato Sauce is slowly simmered to perfection and canned with the help of our Care Farmers.

It truly is farm fresh: incorporating Forge's tomatoes, onions, basil, garlic, dried Italian Herb blend, and red pepper flakes! It comes in a 1 pint (16 fl oz) glass jar.
