Herd sire looking for a new home. 5 year old registered Hereford. Polled scurred Cathedral Trust ( Strongbow II) . Only reason for selling we have kept too many of his heifers. Raised 100% on grass, with rotational grazing. Loads himself, electric fence friendly. Very sound, steady and gentle. Doylesburg PA

I’m sure there isn’t one stand out career that prepares you, for the life as a first generation regenerative livestock farmer. But the military has got to be one of the best. Gas Gas Gas! 28 ‘C (82’F) if you know, you know! Little “Daffodil” needed her milk even in all the wildfire smoke drift.

Well it’s 10 years to the day our first cows arrived at Riverton Farms. We bought 5 heifers from a good friend of Megan’s in the Carolina’s. What a journey it has been over the last 10 years. Blood, sweat and tears have all been shed. There have been super highs and super lows. But it is wonderful to have a herd of healthy happy grass fed rotationally grazed cattle. The fields look better and the other wildlife is plentiful. We feel very grateful and blessed.

Christine glows each year as she comes by sharing her latest creation from our raw fleeces. She expertly plied this shawl with three strand home spun from one of our shorter 2 inch fleeces- a Shropshire Ram named Ashford-Carbonel after the village. Her experience using shorter Viking combs helped it come out beautifully. It was as soft and draping as could be and I enviously admired her work. The best part is her giant smile and her also sharing her family with us as well. From our flock to her family.
