Miss Rebekah Jean is Live on the Lawn tonight, Top Rope Tacos makes their triumphal return to the farm with a new smoker and the same love of food, and Sip’n’Snip will run til dusk. Pick some flowers, sip some cider, listen to tunes while you dine. This is how we do summer!

Magic in the vineyard.
Veraison is here. The grapes have started to transition their physiology. Color shifts from green to red/purple or gold as chlorophyll drops and is replaced by anthrocyanin and phenolics. Acid starts to decrease as sugars rise. And berries start getting softer as maturity get nearer. It won’t be too long before harvest!
