The first rain since early April!🤯

Not only does it save us a ton of water, but we also collect over 1000 gallons/inch fallen. 💧

We get this question a lot-
Can you sew fur on a regular machine? 🤔

Well....you can, but it's not ideal. It's tricky and the final product is kinda whacky. 🫣

Especially when compared to the fur sewing machine! It's SO easy and smooth.🤗

We are fans of our bamboo! It's such an easy plant to care for and it provides great forage for our sheep and rabbits. The sticks are handy in the garden too! 😀

And by pruning in the summer versus the spring- we turn twigs into food! It's not a lot but with feed costs being so high, it helps! 🐑

Do you feed bamboo or tree hay? 🤔

Team dairy sheep all the way!🥳

Better milk, easier to manage, the wool and sheepskins!!, and the delicious lamb. 😋

A cow is way too much for our small homestead. And goats are too wild/naughty/smelly/noisy. 🤪
