📣Registration is NOW OPEN! 📣

Join us, September 19-21 touring Southeastern North Dakota! This years tour will take you full circle: we'll tour a bull stud, several North Dakota Angus Association operations, and a Certified Angus Beef ® brand partner butcher shop. We have lots of extras in store, and are so excited to gather over a few days embracing the cattle and beef industry.

Additionally, the ND Angus Auxiliary is again hosting a Welcome Social and Fundraiser, so be sure to check out this ticketed event when registering for the tour.

“Feed-out projects like North Dakota Angus University are a great way for producers to learn more about their calves’ performance compared to other herds,” says Karl Hoppe, NDSU Extension livestock systems specialist at the Carrington Research Extension Center.

Ranchers can consign steers to the program by contacting the Carrington Research Extension Center. Consigned steers must be at least 50% Angus genetics and weigh between 900 and 1,100 pounds at delivery. Consigned cattle will be delivered to the Carrington feedlot on May 26-29, 2026. https://www.ag.ndsu.edu/news/newsreleases/2026/march/north-dakota-angus-university-feed-out-to-begin-in-may
