Spent some time leaf pulling in the Pinot Gris today. After the late freeze we have shoots without fruit. We purposefully left them because they provide nourishment for the vine this year as well as buds for next year’s shoots and clusters. After the freeze and ongoing drought, we are quite delighted by the developing fruit 🍇 We’re always happy to discover a nest of robin eggs🪺They aren’t after the grapes like the starlings🐦‍⬛Cheers!
