I’m a big fan of couples providing their own vessels for flowers. It gives me a clear idea of the style and vibe they’re going for! They are getting married at a summer camp, and wanted the flowers to reflect that theme. One of the pieces I designed for K+D this weekend sits in a gorgeous, vintage percolator found at an antique store. The bride said she had so much fun sourcing this vase and others she provided. 💛

feeling sooooo inspired and excited after two days at the flowering in the north conference. meeting/listening to farmers and florists I’ve admired from afar for years had me fan-girling so hard. although we’ve scaled back a bit this year, we are scheming and planning behind the scenes about how we want to re-shape and hone in on our operation. attending this conference totally encouraged and empowered me to make our dream a reality here at TBF. I realized I still have so much more to learn and absorb before diving back into our business. I love our flower community! it was so lovely meeting you all 🌸🌷🌼

Some years I struggle to feel the holiday spirit, but this year I’ve jumped head first into it all. Maybe it’s because we had a wonderful Friendsgiving last night, or I started making homemade Christmas gifts back in October… or because I’ve already watched one of my favorite Christmas movies (The Holiday, if you recognize the music 😄) Whatever it is, I’m really enjoying this years holiday season!
