Our 2026 Farm to Table Dinner is a wrap!

It was a beautiful night of local, made from scratch food, here on the farm.

Here’s this years list of farms that provided food for us to enjoy:

Coco's-Medina-catering services
Green Acres Farm-Milan-strawberries
H&H Farms-McKenzie-bacon
Kady’s Starter Kitchen -Paris-sourdough bread
Martin Stockyard/NB Beef-Martin-beef
Stacy’s Blooming Acres-Martin-flower bar
Tennemo Rice Family Farm & Mill-Finley-rice
Headfirst Farmstead-Trenton-honey, herbs, jam for gifts
Wilson Farm Soaps-Dresden-soaps for gift bags
Holt Family Farms-Dresden-location, whipped cream, herbs, pork, butter

It was fun to include all these friends and neighbors and we hope you go support these farms when you can!

Until next time, support local!

We didn’t get one single before or good picture, but if you were in Dresden tonight, we hope you enjoyed the candy cannon 😂🍭🍬, and no children were harmed by flying candy!

I don’t know if 1994 summers are really a “thing” but can we make it a “thing”?!

PS: Also, making your own corn dogs is not even that hard. Why haven’t y’all told me?

Our life lately has been a whirlwind so I haven’t had time to share much. But I’m trying to do better about showing you all what we do year round on the farm. Here’s a little of what we’ve been up to.

Libby and Martha Ann have kept us hopping from one concert, practice, or performance. Libby -violin, Martha Ann- cello.

Josie had her official last day of school.

Andrew’s done the lion share of farm work and taking care of the cows, feed making, and mowing.

Lottie and the little boys have really been wanting to spend extra time with me and I know they are sensing the upcoming changes to our family dynamic with Josie leaving. We’ve been playing front yard baseball, making mud pies, and playing outside.

Starting tomorrow I’m gathering ingredients and products for our annual farm to table dinner so I’ll take you along in stories if you want to see all the good local food I’m getting!

We are all just holding on as May approaches and promises to be even more busy with Josie’s graduation and wedding. Plus it will be time to wean Lesley from Joy so we will have double the milk!

The adventures continue!

This is the last chance to get some bulbs before we clear the field for pumpkins.

Park in the field and walk down the hill to the tulip patch, then pay at the “play barn”.

🌷Share with your friends! There’s plenty left!

Mother’s Day is in 17 days. Do you have a gift? Why not bring her to dinner on the farm!? It’s a sit down, plated meal made from the freshest local ingredients. She can be served a 3 course meal with no cooking, cleaning up, and flowers and gifts are included. ❤️

Reelfoot never disappoints with the critters and you know my crew loves to catch a snake or turtle.

Back to work, wedding planning, graduation prep, and farm work tomorrow, but thankful for our rest day together.
