New lifeguard at the pool! 🏊🏻

Loki is turning into an amazing protector of the chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese and guinea fowl in ChickenTownUSA. At 5 months old he’s constantly exposed to all the animals on the farm. But I’m so proud of him around all the birds.

Loki is an Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix Livestock Guardian Dog (LGD) here on the farm. He is Thor’s son and basically his mini me! Even down to the double dew claws.

Come take a tour this weekend and meet Loki! 🤠❤️🐕

When you need a job done on the farm, get Girl Scout Troop 651!

All these girls came to volunteer on the farm and earn their Pet Badge! They fed the animals, gave them water, found eggs, put hay in the nest boxes, held some chickens, gave the GoatieGoats animals crackers, pet the pups and cats, got some stickers and had a fun time!

Thank you, Girl Scout Troop 651, you were awesome! Come back anytime! 🤠❤️🙏🏻

Extremely sad day on the farm today. Blue Boy, our first goat we ever took in, passed this morning. He was an old goat, always loving and sweet to me, but put everyone else in their place. Never met a cookie he didn’t like.

Today is just a little sad for us all. But we’ll all get back out there taking care of all the other fluffies like we do everyday. Won’t be easy. But dealing with loss of a loved one - even a goat - is extremely difficult.

Here’s a toast to you Blue Boy, my sweet boy and cookie aficionado. May God wrap you in his loving arms.

Please don’t hit any angels with your horns up there. Be nice.
