American Water Family,

FREEZE WARNING!! Please remember your equipment warranty does not cover freezing weather so we would like to give you our recommendations to protect your water softener and filtration equipment during the upcoming freeze.

In Freezing Weather:

- Cover vents around the foundation of your house.

- Water softeners should be protected with a covering and/or heat source from freezing temperatures if located outside

- In sustained sub-freezing weather, let water drip STEADY from the inside faucets in your home.

Please call our office with any questions about protecting your water softener at 512-388-0022.

Look up your local water system to find out which pollutants might be of concern, and find suggestions on the best kinds of home filters to remove those chemicals.

Quick water fact worth knowing: Texas consistently ranks among the states with the worst tap water according to recent national studies. 😬💧

That means higher levels of contaminants, taste issues, and scale buildup, not exactly what homeowners or restaurants want coming out of the tap. This is a big reason why whole-home and commercial filtration isn’t a luxury here; it’s a necessity.

Cleaner water protects plumbing, improves taste, supports appliances, and, for restaurants, directly impacts food quality and customer experience.

Don’t Settle, Better Water Awaits

When water doesn’t taste right, it’s hard to drink enough of it — let alone enjoy it. If you have a water filter in place, it should deliver a difference you can taste, but to keep that crisp, refreshing flavor flowing, it’s important to stay on top of filter changes and system checkups.

That’s where our American Water team is here to help. We deliver expert solutions that help you address common water problems, such as:
💧 Bitter or flat taste
💧 Cloudiness or residue
💧 Stains from iron or manganese
💧 Rotten egg-like odors
💧 Metallic tastes
If you’re interested in solutions, please contact Martin Garza at (512) 431-3353. Thanks!
